Courtney Rae and her team specialize in both film and digital photography and videography, as well as hybrid films that encompass super 8 film, camcorder and digital footage.

Courtney has called New York City, Los Angeles and Maui her home, but "that was a lifetime ago." Now residing in Minneapolis, MN with her husband and two sons, she enjoys having established roots nearer her family in North Dakota where she grew up running barefoot on gravel, dirt, and forgotten, overgrown roads with her three younger siblings.

Her work is a combination of documentary and editorial, with a large emphasis in analog and home video. Her films have been described as feeling like a memory, and she hopes you can feel and understand that, too.

In a past life, Courtney was a professional cook; and while she loves documenting weddings and families moving through life the past 11 years, she also craves working with her hands in the kitchen. If she's not behind a camera, that's typically where you can find her.
